ABOUT OUR PROJECT
At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County (BGCCC) we have a bold vision that success is within the reach of every child. We believe that every young person deserves a safe place to learn and grow. We offer life-enhancing programs, character development, hope and opportunity for the future. We are giving you the opportunity to change the life of a child and to ensure the vitality of the community in which we live by investing with us for the future.

As the most vital youth development organization in Chaffee County, BGCCC has embarked on a new, once-in-a-generation challenge. While our Salida youth were able to move into a “real Club” a few years ago, our Buena Vista kids have spent years making do in rotating spaces at the elementary school—sometimes sitting on hallway floors to read and work on projects. Now, our BV kids have the opportunity for a “real Club” of their own: a place where they can be themselves, learn and grow, and truly feel at home. We need your support to build Great Futures by building a new, permanent Club home for our Buena Vista youth.

As a team, we are diverse in our backgrounds and experiences, but similar and united in our commitment to change the trajectory of young lives in Buena Vista and Chaffee County. We are parents, grandparents, business professionals, and present or emeritus board members of the Boys & Girls Club. We’re also volunteers, community members, neighbors, and friends.

Our Building Great Futures Buena Vista Campaign has been challenging and inspiring for all of us. But we know good fortune will follow all our efforts as we join with you to create GREAT FUTURES for youth, teens, and families in Buena Vista.

Thank you for joining us!
